CaliFino Extra Añejo Tequila

CaliFino Extra Añejo is the crown of the CaliFino range, a 100% blue Weber agave tequila made in Jalisco for the California-born brand and aged for at least seven years, more than twice the three-year minimum for the extra añejo category. The agave is slowly cooked in a stone oven and double distilled, keeping only the heart of the distillate, before the long rest in lightly toasted American white oak with a finish in French oak barrels.

Seven years in wood produces a tequila that drinks like a fine cognac: deep mahogany color, rich layers of caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, toasted oak, and baking spice from the French oak finish, and a long, velvety finish at 40% ABV. Sip it neat from a snifter after dinner. This 750 ml bottle is a serious gift for a tequila collector.
